Man shot during haircut

A Friday afternoon haircut turned bloody when a masked man ran into a Chillum babershop and shot a 37-year-old man in the upper body, Prince George's County police said. As of Friday evening, the man getting the trim on the 5600 block of Sargent Road was in critical condition and the suspect, a black male in a white tank top and blue jean shorts, remained at large. Man stabbed to death during walk

A Montgomery Village man was stabbed to death late Thursday night as he walked home from his waitering job at Lakeforest Mall, Montgomery County police said. Police believe Longyuan Wang, 24, was a victim of an attempted robbery when two men stabbed him on the unit block of Fifeshire Court around 11 p.m. One of the suspects is described as Asian or Hispanic, in his 20ss, with an average build and short dark hair. The second is of an unknown race and gender. They ran from the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call (240) 773-5070. -Freeman Klopott

Alleged gang members indicted

A grand jury handed up a 40-count indictment against 11 people that authorities say belong to a criminal street gang in Southeast Washington, authorities said.

Members of the 22nd Street Crew were charged with violating the District's new Criminal Street Gang law, in addition to conspiracy and narcotics charges.

Those arrested as of Friday were Demetrius R. Prysock, 21, James O. Gray, 26, Demetruis Wilkins, 24, Charles Chandler, 22, and Paris L. Cottingham, 24. Four others were already in jail awaiting trial for other charges. - Scott McCabe

Six arrested at Woodbridge massage business

Prince William County police arrested six people after raiding a massage business Thursday night, saying prostitution was performed at SKO Therapy at 13628 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. Employees from four states were charged after the 11:15 p.m. search, including Kwi Im Santellan, 53, of Killeen, Texas, for maintaining a bawdy house. Kum Estrada, 43, of Philadelphia, was charged with prostitution, and two customers, Marcello Rosales, 36, of Dale City, and Danny L. Crawford Jr., 22, of Woodbridge were charged with frequenting a bawdy house. Two employees, Ok Ja Kim, 39, of New Jersey, and Bon Suk Goo, 49, of New York, were charged with not having massage licenses. - Dan Genz
