BurlingamePrisoner of love: A person said his ex-girlfriend was holding him captive in their relationship on the 1600 block of Broadway before 5:36 p.m. on May 5. San BrunoPlayground circuit: Two or three men were riding motorcycles on a school playground on the 400 block of Third Avenue before 6:38 p.m. on May 5. Daly CityMore than meets the eye: An unlicensed driver without insurance crashed into a transformer box at 11 p.m. May 4 in the 500 block of Clarinada Avenue. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of DUI, transported to First Chance North and cited. The areas of Clarinada and Highway 1 lost electricity. Foster CityDog defense: A resident called at 10:01 a.m. May 3 from Marlin Avenue that her neighbor hit a family member and their dog had attacked him. The owner took the dog back inside the apartment. No medical attention was needed. The subject was arrested for a $1,500 misdemeanor assault warrant out of Oakland and transported to county jail. Subpar: A golfer called at 4:31 p.m. May 3 from East Third Avenue stating that his golf clubs and bag were stolen from in front of the pro shop. The bag contained the golfer’s keys and a wallet with credit cards and $60 in cash. The estimated total loss was $1,600. South CityDerogatory: A manager called at 7:04 p.m. May 4 from Peets Coffee on Grand Avenue because two men were in front of J&J Market yelling derogatory comments to a female employee. Redwood CityVandalism: A custodian witnessed six juveniles tagging graffiti at 6:52 p.m. May 3. |
