Mission

Mission district, Noe Valley

Quick grab: At 3:35 p.m. April 27 on Mission Street, a man took out a $50 bill to pay for his meal when a woman grabbed the money out of his hand and walked away. Two friends of the suspect approached the victim and told him to leave. The victim called 911, and the woman was later arrested by police.

Financial District, Nob Hill, Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill

Candleholder clubbing: Club security was assaulted at 2 a.m. April 26 on the 400 block of Broadway by an individual wielding a candleholder made out of a wine bottle. The suspect, a Concord resident, was booked on suspicion of felony assault.

Bayview

Bayview, Hunters Point

Shots fired: On April 26 police responded to the 700 block of Girard Street regarding a shots-fired incident. A second caller said he heard eight or nine shots and saw the end of a rifle sticking out of a window. Officers on scene had taken a suspect who had been firing the rifle into custody without incident. The suspect and another individual were in a verbal argument that turned physical when one subject threw a bottle and two knives at the other.

Taraval

Sunset, Parkside, portions of Golden Gate Park

Forgery: Officers were on plainclothes patrol when a man walked in front of their car, causing the driver of the police car to slam on his brakes at 2:29 p.m. April 24 near Broad Street and Capitol Avenue. The suspect produced a forged medical marijuana card as identification. The man was arrested for forgery.

Ingleside

Glen Park, Bernal Heights, Excelsior, St. Francis Wood

Domestic violence: At 1:30 p.m. April 26 at Silver Avenue and Vienna Street, an officer investigated a fight and arrested a 21-year-old Portola district man for felony battery in a domestic violence case.
