Richmond

Richmond, most of Golden Gate Park

Corked on the head: Officers responded to a local hospital at 2:20 a.m. April 19 on a call of an assault.

The victim had been struck over the head with a wine bottle and knocked unconscious. The victim’s friends who witnessed the assault were at the hospital and reported that the suspect was their roommate. They said that while walking on Great Highway, the suspect argued with them, swung the wine bottle, and fled when they called an ambulance.

The suspect was located at his residence and charged with aggravated assault.

Central

Financial District, Nob Hill, Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill

Bad son: Officers responded to a call of a man threatening his mother at 6 p.m. April 21 in the 500 block of Francisco Street.

While searching for the son inside the residence, they found marijuana in a closet.

Bayview

Bayview, Hunters Point

Attempted carjacking: Officers responded at 4:06 a.m. April 27 to Third Street and La Salle Avenue regarding a carjacking attempt.

The victim said she had just left a nightclub and walked to her car. She attempted to get into the car and lock the door when the suspect opened the car door and told her to get out. The suspect then punched her in the face four to five times, causing bleeding and swollen lips, before he was chased off by a friend of the victim.

Officers searched the area and found the suspect a few blocks away. The suspect was taken into custody and identified by the victim.

Park

Cole Valley, Haight, Castro, Twin Peaks, Panhandle

Sworded affair: Dispatch received a call April 20 of a bunch of guys fighting at Haight Street and Masonic Avenue.

The officers observed a 2-foot scabbard poking out of one of their coats. One also had sheathed knives hidden inside his jacket. Both were cited and released.
