Teen assaulted in Dumfries Prince William County police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Dumfries Monday as she walked through the woods behind the 3600 block of Wharf Lane. A man wearing a black baseball cap approached her, “pinned her against the rear fence of a town house, then sexually assaulted her,” according to a county police report. Police are looking for a white or Hispanic man who is about 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-8 and about 200 pounds and was wearing black shoes, black jeans and a gray hooded sweat shirt that partly concealed his face. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS. – Dan Genz D.C. police make arrest in stabbing death D.C. police announced an arrest in connection with the March 7 stabbing death of Amin Ibad Shabazz in Northwest Washington. Tyrone Davis, 44, was charged with second-degree murder while armed, police said. He had been transferred from the Virginia Detention Center in Alexandria to D.C. Shabazz was found unconscious and suffering multiple stab wounds at his apartment at by police who were responding to a disturbance. – Scott McCabe Police seize marijuana during traffic stop Josue Sequeira, 20, of Gaithersburg was arrested Wednesday after police discovered marijuana and a loaded 9 mm magazine in his car during a routine traffic stop, Maryland National Capital Park Police said. Sequeira was spotted speeding by police on Watkins Mill Road in Great Seneca Valley Stream, but before they could pull him over, he struck a curb and came to rest against a tree. A search warrant of his home yielded a loaded handgun, drug packaging and more than $22,000 in cash. – Freeman Klopott Two Germantown men charged with burglary, drugs Jesus Aranda-Luna, 25, and Santos Sibrian, 31, both of Germantown, were arrested earlier this week on burglary and drug charges, Montgomery County police said.
