San BrunoRegister raided: About $175 was stolen from a cash register in a store with an unlocked front door on the 1200 block of El Camino Real before 12:21 p.m. on April 8. BurlingameCar chase: A man followed a white Toyota after he said it almost ran over him on the 1500 block of Hoover Avenue before 11:21 a.m. on April 8. Foster CityDramatic drop-off: A caller reported at 6:58 p.m. April 8 from Apollo Lane that when her roommate’s husband dropped off their children, he pushed the door into her and caused a scene. The caller wanted him to leave. The man came to the police station several minutes later to report that he was scratched by the caller at the residence. San MateoShoplifting: A theft was reported at 4:05 p.m. April 8 from a store inside the Hillsdale Mall. A male in his 20s had taken something and had a box cutter on him. He later was seen in the shoe department. Redwood CityDomestic dispute: A heated domestic disturbance was reported at 3:31 p.m. April 8 by a man who locked himself in a bedroom when threatened by a woman with a knife. South CityIHOP-ing mad: At 9:28 a.m. April 15, a person reported that a man got out of his truck and started hitting another truck with a metal rod at IHOP before the northbound onramp on S. Airport Boulevard. Daly CityIdentity crisis: Identity theft was reported at 1:01 p.m. April 8 from unit block of St. Francis Square by a caller reporting ID theft, forgery and theft by access card resulting in a loss of $91,488.50. The suspect was a friend and employee of the caller and last seen March 1, 2008. |
