BALTIMORE -
Claim of lost dog gets robbers into Joppa home Two men, who said they were searching for their lost dog, forced their way into a Joppatowne house and robbed the owner at knifepoint, according to the Harford sheriff’s office. The two men started talking to the homeowner Saturday morning on Shore Drive before one of the men pulled out a knife, and then they forced themselves inside the house, said Lt. Christina Presberry, sheriff’s office spokeswoman. The men fled after taking less than $500 worth of property, but they were found when neighbors’ descriptions led deputies to stop a vehicle on Route 40 at the Route 24 spur. The suspects were Charles Littlewood, 23, of Edgewood, and Anthony Paolini, 24, of Baltimore City, both of whom were charged with first- and second-degree burglary, first- and second-degree assault, carrying a deadly weapon with intent to injure, possession of burglary tools and theft under $500.
