WASHINGTON -

Dan Patrick returns to Washington sports talk radio starting today and can be heard weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on SportsTalk 980 AM. Patrick will replace the popular local show hosted by FOX 5 Sports Director Dave Feldman and Comcast SportsNet’s Carol Maloney.

The new version of the Dan Patrick show will be tape-delayed and reduced by an hour from its live version in Los Angeles. It seems to be that Patrick got a little help from his brother in law Clear Channel Washington Regional Vice President Dave Pugh who oversees WTEM.

Don’t get me wrong I am happy to have Patrick back on the air in D.C. — he is still the best sports talker in the business I am however sad to see “Feldman and Maloney,” getting the boot they will be missed.
