As Howard finishes his third date with Bernadette (guest star Melissa Rauch), she asks him where this relationship is going. Confused on the matter, Howard stumbles a week without calling her.
Meanwhile, Sheldon is embarrassed on the radio when Kripke secretly fills Sheldon's office with helium. Sheldon pledges vengeance against his nemesis.
As Howard continues his traditional bathtub fantasy featuring Battle Galactica star Katee Sackhoff, he realizes that he's only ever going to be with a fantasy unless he accepts reality. He goes down to the Cheesecake Factory and proposes to Bernadette, only to be rejected. He continues his attempts by singing an apology serenade, thus winning her back.
Sheldon plants a very gooey surprise for Kripke, only to have it backfire when he accidentally slushes his superiors as well.
