When one thinks of a crossover, "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" don't usually come up as potential pair-ups. Luckily, this tidbit may just be a fun easter egg for fans rather than a full crossover for ABC's top hitters.
According to Kristin on E!Online, "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry is in talks to have a plane crash onto beautiful Wisteria Lane for its annual midseason cliffhanger. Sounds epic, no? Even better, the plane might belong to none other than Oceanic Airlines, the fabled airline that also started the "Lost" adventures by crashing onto the mysterious island with Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locker...you get the idea.
While this is still in the early stages of negotiation, it does sound very interesting. What do you think? Would this crossover work for you?

It sounds great!
I can't wait!!
What a stupid idea. Not only has Wisteria Lane been targeted by an extremely rare Southern California twister, but now a plane crash down on it? The Oceanic branding of the airline would just through the viewers even further outside of the believability of the event. By the way, I am a big fan of both "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" but I don't want to see this idea come to fruition. That would be a true shark-jumping storyline for sure.
Got something to say?
