The American Music Awards were handed out last night on ABC. Adam Lambert closed the show with the title track from his new album For Your Entertainment. Lambert shocked audiences as well as the ABC censors, with the performance. Backed by a stage full of bondage dressed male and female dancers, the American Idol runner-up stalked the stage fondling, kissing and grinding dancers' heads into his crotch. ABC muted the sound during the crotch grinding, then quickly cut to the audience. It was a performance art spectacle that overshadowed the queen of spectacle, Lady Gaga, who set the stage on fire during her performance.
There were sound mixing problems throughout the show, leaving most singers sounding tinny. Although crowd-pleasing Kelly Clarkson managed to sound great.
Taylor Swift was the big winner of the evening with 5 awards. She took home Favorite Female Artist in Pop/Rock, Adult Contemporary and Country, Favorite Country Album and Artist of the Year. The late Michael Jackson won 4 awards including Favorite Male Artist in Pop/Rock and Soul/R & B as well as Favorite Album in Pop/Rock and Soul/R & B.

WOW, the biggest crowd Ever, Guess who brought those crowd? Adam Lambert. I stayed up just to see Adam performs, I was laughing so is my hubby. It's provocative but so is the rest of the performers. Adam performance is no difference than the other performers. Lighten up to the hypocrites, it's 21st century the kid just want to have fun. He is awesome and driven to audience to see him performs, he is exciting!
