Queen Latifah, through her production company Flavor Unit Entertainment, reportedly signed a deal with Black Entertainment Television [BET] is in full locomotion as she's been attached to executive produce a scripted TV series, Let's Stay Together, slated for 2011 and sequel to the movie Cookout.  Latifah will not star in the show or the movie but will be executive producer. Adding more to her wheel of fortune, is the upcoming movie Just Wright.

A romantic sports comedy written by Michael Elliot and also produced by Latifah along with Debra Martin Chase, brings a fresh spin on love.

Directed by Sanaa Hamri [you'll remember her as director for movie 'Something New'] , Just Wright, seems like the right type of romantic comedy and brings fresh faces staring Common, who is doing quite well in transitioning from the hip hop world into film acting, and r&b singer Robin Thicke's wife, Paula Patton. [Precious and Seven Pounds].  Phylicia Rashad [Claire Huxtable , Cosby Show] co-stars as Common's mother.

The song title song for the movie and soundtrack Champion by Queen Latifah is definitely an invigorating song and one that also gives back to support our Olympic athletes.

I'm sure it's a typo. Geez people, is it really that serious?

Like Maria said, is it really that serious? No, I don't think so. Anyway. I enjoyed the movie. This weekend will be a Sex in the City weekend--well I hope :)
