Could this be worth millions one day?
How many times has your preschooler caught you tossing away their much loved artwork that they made - especially for YOU?! As much as we love our tots' artwork, one refrigerator simply cannot hold that many colorful creations.
There are plenty of other ways you can display your preschooler's artwork - ways that are sure to please all members of the household!
- Laminate. Either buy clear contact paper and trim the edges, or take the artwork to Kinko's (where you can self-serve or have them help you). With this simple technique, you can turn artwork into placemats, flash cards, or a calendar.
- Upload. Scan the artwork onto your computer and that way, you can send them to friends or family or post them to your Facebook pages. Even better, use animoto.com to make an artwork montage, equipped with music - and all for FREE!
- Portfolio. Place artwork in sheet protector sleeves and put them in a binder. That way, everyone will have access to the artwork and little fingers won't get their creations dirty! This is also a great way to document cute quotes or conversations you have with your preschooler.
- Collage. Cut out smaller portions of your preschooler's artwork and have him or her help you arrange them on a bulletin board or poster board. That way, you'll have all of your preschooler's special masterpieces placed in one spot!
- Cards. Either trim your preschooler's artwork into smaller pieces or have them simply fold the drawings in half. Add stickers and glitter and sign their names. You can even cut small squares of your child's artwork and use them as mini gift-tags. It's a great way to recycle and reuse the precious masterpieces!
- Coasters. You've seen the adorable coasters where you add photos - change it up and place smaller cutouts of your child's artwork in there instead. A great and easy way to show off your preschooler's hard work - especially when family or friends come over!
- Books. Choose some artwork with your preschooler and then come up with a story. Write the words on the pictures and staple the pages together. It's an easy way to combine lots of artwork and add to your child's book collection.
