As we prepare to take this very personal, yet very public journey, let us make a commitment to this challenge. Before chapter one in One Month to Live is something of a contract. It is a challenge to really live your life as if the next 30 days would be your last.
If you have the book, I encourage you to sign your name on this page the day you begin the program. For many in western Oklahoma, that day will be 21 February 2010. Some may come across this article earlier or later, but whatever day you decide to begin the program, please sign the book. Commit not to just daily reading, but to suspending what we believe to be reality—suspending the false sense of security that we get from thinking we have all the time in the world. Whether it is 30 days or 30 years that we have left, it really is just a mist in the context of eternity.
Please commit to living these next 30 days as if they were your last. If you are only participating online, use the comments field below to make a commitment to living the next 30 days as if they were your last so you can experience living life to the full!
