D.K. Jamaal is an educator, entertainer, and co-founder of the PUMA (Party Unity My A--!) political movement. He was born in Savannah, GA the son of a public school principal and a military vet. He was an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Scholar and a Warner Brothers Fellow in Cinema-Television Critical Studies and Screenwriting at the University of Southern California. Formerly a script analyst for Warner Brothers and a volunteer for several political campaigns, he currently pals around with surfers, teachers, and musicians, residing in a bungalow on the California coast.
