My goodness, but did I get a rocket in the e mail today. This from Chuck Muth of Citizen Outreach:
Citizen Outreach today emailed a letter to the thirteen members of the Nevada System of Higher Education's (NSHE) Board of Regents, signed by a coalition of conservative leaders, calling on the Board to terminate the employment of Chancellor Dan Klaich.
The letter was sparked by comments attributed to Klaich in a Reno Gazette-Journal story last week in which the chancellor clearly insinuated that UNR President Milt Glick's death on (April)16, 2011, was possibly caused by Gov. Brian Sandoval's proposed budget cuts to the higher education system. The letter reads, in part:
"Dan Klaich's hyperbole and false accusations are unacceptably offensive and do more to erode support for the higher education system than generate support for it. Many Nevadans, struggling to keep their own family's head above water, are sick and tired of being told we don't give a damn about education!
"Enough is enough...
You can read the whole letter here - and I recommend you do, it is quite an eye-opener. It ciearly shows both the depseration of Big Government and their utter dishonesty. Attempted denials aside, big spending, Big Government liberals are accusing Governor Sandoval - and thus all of the GOP - of being murderers.
As I've long told my liberal friends, the prime movitation for being on the right is our desire to starve children, throw granny out on street and, of course, our weekly "beat-a-puppy-to-death" jamoborees. To this we can now add our bloodthirsty hatred of university Presidents. In fact, the whole purpose of electing Sandoval was to do in Glick. We've been after him for years, you know? Sitting there all smug and educated while we're stuck here, bitterly clinging to guns and the Bible...
What this tells is is to just watch out - there is no bottom to the Big Government, liberal gutter. They'll keep going down lower and lower, trying to find more and more muck to throw at anyone who dares to question the Ruling Class. We're not supposed to ask why we need to spend all that money: all we're supposed to do is pony up. And as the pressure on Big Government increases, they'll just get more frantic. More than likely, a "double dip" recession is on it's way. The rosy revenue forecasts they are using in Carson City aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Come 2012 there will be the need for a special session to bridge the budget gap, again. At that point, accusations of cold blooded murder will be the mildest attacks we'll face.
