In yet another despicable case of animal torture, Kenny, now known as the cat abuser has been caught by authorities. He along with his cohorts filmed themselves torturing a cat and the video was posted on YouTube. As the AP reports: Due to the thousand of comments and people writing in, the video was taken down. The user name and information, along with other information on the internet pointed to a teen in Texoma. Posts from all over the asked people to call channel 7News, and many did. Due to it's graphic nature, much of the video was edited for this story.
Video:
Thank goodness this animal abuser has been caught. No animal should have to be tortured! The question though is why did YouTube allow this? Even though the video was taken down, there are many other videos in various situations that are offensive that are not taken down as quickly. There needs to be more policing on YouTube as to what content is allowed to be posted.

Comments
If YouTube hadn't allowed the video to be initially posted, then the little twit wouldn't have gotten caught so quickly, and maybe not at all. (YouTube did remove the video as soon as it was alerted to its presence.)
They just showed on local tv another video of the brothers abusing the same cat at another time. They are to go to court tomorrow, but they should go to jail. The boys are deranged.
I'm dismayed that you blame this on youtube. Should they be watching every single video that gets posted to check for objectionable content? That would undercut one of youtube's appeals, namely its timeliness. Youtube depends on community moderation, and their system worked perfectly in this case.
The only reason these kids were caught is because they posted this on youtube.
If anything, Youtube should keep its open content policy, so that despicable, stupid people continue to out themselves. If it weren't for Youtube, Dusty would still be being beaten right now.
anonymous hates everyone, except cats, we freaking love cats!
WE ARE ANONYMOUS! FEAR US!
We are anon! We are internet tough guys who doesn't afraid of anything. We love cats... WE LOVE CATS
My only comment is on the last lines about youtube. If that content had not been shown that kid could have contiued to abuse that cat for however long he wanted. Because it was show, Anon was able to find out who he is and action was able to be taken quickly. No porn on youtube i get, but unless youtube is going to sit and attempt to take down every person who tries to post video's like this, i'm almost glad it got up there.
Just think, if it wasn't posted on YouTube, we would never have caught these CRUEL despicable human beings.
FOR HIS CRIME ON CATURDAY, WE HAVE CLEANSED THE WEB OF HIS FAIL! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the Sheriff in Lawton seems to be enjoying all the spotlight!? I don't like the grin of his face! I think he needs to be more professional... This isn't a joke, so he needs to wipe that smirk off his Hillbilly Face!
I have to agree. Things like Justin Timberlake being on SNL in a skit with Beyonce is taken off faster than a cat abuser?? That is just HORRIBLE on YouTubes part!
But, apparently, it's ok to torture people if you're a Christian evangelist who voted for George W. Bush. The best of intentions justify nearly anything.

Sorry about my prev post. It was badly phrased. I meant to say that the leadership of America has engaged in the torture of people. Belief systems seem to justify things like this. Perhaps THAT Gitmo turture encouraged this feline torture, but we'll probably never know. We need to get our priorities in order and stop ALL torture. Please forgive me if I offended you.
can you imagine how many thousands of videos are uploaded to youtube daily? there's no way they could police that stuff. if you see a video that violates their terms of service, report it to youtube. that's the best you could hope for.
I hope this punk like surprise buttsecks and mudkips.
The website for the school district where these cat torturers go and their mom works has this as its motto: "As the twig is bent, the tree is inclined". Oh, the irony!
I blame his parents!
Oh, and Rick, do you REALLY think this vapid waste of space even knows what Gitmo is? He's probably a spoiled little twit that doesn't even think past his own backyard.
Guys, had the video been taken down early, no one would have been aware of this heinous act. The fact that it stayed online for a while is a blessing in disguise.
His name and address is all over the web. This little bloke is in a world of trouble.
Given the mind boggling amount of data, human interactions, views/uploads, etc. it's nice that it's only as bad as a NYC traffic jam. The overwhelming majority of take-downs are DMCA claims from overly zealous media giants or cults. The 1/million instances like this disappear quickly, but IMO it's better if the material isn't instantly gone--within 24 hours the individual was identified, located, and brought to courts. What if it had been removed within the hour of uploading? None of us would know and he could've continued doing this for months or years. It's important to not shy away and sweep things under the rug, but to expose and rectify them. If anything, Dusty's plight exemplifies why NOT to strictly police or censor, because the internet polices itself with greater speed and efficiency than any regulatory board ever could.
You are unbelievable "Rick" (12:03, :06 and :14 below)...so this cat abuse is George W. Bush's fault?!? You liberals are going to blame everything for the next million years on GW Bush, aren't you? You have the nerve to hold the ex-president accountable for this instead of the teenagers themselves or their parents?!? I suppose you also feel that GW Bush should be punished for the cat being abused instead of the teens?!? After all, the teens are just innocent victims of the ex-presidents policies that kept our country free from terrorist attacks for the past 8 years. You are pathetic!
The "authorities" didn't catch these monsters, it was 4chan and Anonymous that caught them.
this what so sick it make me cry when i saw this poor cat but i like to know if the cat ok still alive i really do hope so and gone to new home pls let me know
The teens responsible were released to their parents by the D.A. and they and their lawyer will meet with investigators to determine their fate on Tuesday. Dusty is alive and was taken to a veterinarian, where it will remain until the investigation is complete.
Thank you for featuring this story. Please post updates.
While I'm glad that Kenny has been taken; and Dusty is safe -- what I don't understand is why you're putting some of the blame on Youtube. Youtube DID police the video and take it down. Youtube has so many videos on it; it cannot moderate every single video that is uploaded immediately. On the plus side as well, what IF Youtube pulled the video as quickly has you wanted it? Anonymous may not have been able to see it and find out who Kenny is. Please focus your anger on Kenny -- not Youtube.
I am so glad it was posted on youtube. If it wasn't he probably would have gotten away with hurting this poor poor cat. I feel for the cat, and I personally want to the living crap out of this peice of crap and his friend. I would have soooo much fun doing it...I wish I went to school with this little maggot.
OPPS. let me rephrase that..." I personally want to beat this piece of crap and his friend and would have so much fun doing it."
Sorry, I was just so mad when I read it. POOR CAT =(..I want to adopt him and show him not all humans are like this kid...man I want to beat him SOOOOOOO BAD.
THIS PUNK NEEDS THE DEATH PENALTY.
The Comanche County District Attorneys Office has charged both juveniles involved in the animal (cat) torture case with two (2) counts each of cruelty to animals. We want the public to know this behavior will not be tolerated at any level. They will be held accountable, stated Robert Schulte, district attorney.
In the state of Oklahoma, the juvenile court system is a closed system and is not open to the public. We are prohibited from commenting on the case as it proceeds through the system, as well as any disposition, added Schulte.
i hear he has his own web site and is bragging about what he did.
