In various interviews, the star of The Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart has said that there is definitely a negative side to the entertainment business in the paparazzi and the like. And in a new interview, Adam Brody seems to think that if all that goes along with being in the business bothers an actor -- than perhaps they should quit the job.
According to Celebuzz, when Diablo Cody interview Adam Brody for her new show, he was asked about Kristen Stewart. He explained:
"It's a shame because at certain times it's amazing. I don't really give a s*** about the Lakers but if you did you could have nice seats–there are plenty of perks. It's only gotten worse being a celebrity but at the same time I don't have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much 'cause there are many things you could do and you know you mentioned...[Kristen] and it's like quit, f****** quit. You don't need to be an actress. If it's that much of a problem, there's the door."
What do you think about Brody's comments on Kristen Stewart, and actors in general who voice their displeasure with the paparazzi, etc.? Do you think that there should be stricter restrictions on the paparazzi as far as getting close to the children of celebrities, as well as the extreme invasion of privacy that many stars have to deal with as a result of the constant presence of photographers?

Adam Brody can not even begin to know what it is like to be invaded by the paparazzi. For him, he never got to that level of fame. They are photographing Kristen while she is in the privacy of her hotel room with the high powered lenses, stalking her, chasing her while she is driving and causing disturbances at airports. Kristen has no complaints about fame or fans, she has said she is thankful for the opportunities she now has. She has also posed with fans while on her own time. She just has an issue with being stalked, chased and having her privacy invaded - and rightly so. Does Adam remember Princess Diana and what the paparazzi are capable of?
agree 100% with Brody's comments. that's exactly why i can't stand Kristen Stewart - get the f*** out of the acting game if you can't quit bitching - she's so unbelievably annoying. she acts like she's too cool for everything, poor, poor K-Stew. if she only knew she has nothing to do with Twilight's success. people merely tolerate her monotone, flat performance to watch the other cast members - no one would notice if she never acted again.
yes, celebrities need to understand that once they become famous, the paparazzi is out to get them. HOWEVER, i do believe sometimes media/paparazzi go too far. yes, they're celebrities and famous, but they still have lives, and they are still people. i'm sure someone can only take so much of being prodded and put under a microscope to the extent of Kristen, Robert and other celebrities. i do believe that there are some things that paparazzi just shouldn't do. such as getting close to celebrity kids, and a lot of the private lives of celebrities. it is sometimes interesting to hear what they're up to, but there's also a privacy line which should never be crossed. no matter how famous...i agree with what abby posted here 100%!
Brody is showing that he has no idea what it is like to be magnified to the extent that Kristin is. He would most likely he would love to be the focus of so much attention but Kristin always gravitated toward small indie films before Twi. Cut her some slack if she didn't perfectly adjust, smiling and winking to the invasive camera. I love Kristin because she is a great actress and she represents people who are a bit awkward and uncomfortable in the lime light but still super chill behind closed doors. And by the way, she has never been quoted making a negative dig at other actors. Let her be. She rocks. See The Cake Eaters if you don't believe it. If you still don't like her... it doesn't matter. She is here to stay. She is smart and has been acting for a significant period of time now with notable actors and directors, among others in the industry (even BEFORE Twi). Stopp hating Brody. Go find something to do... or stump for some paparazzi because you obviously need some attention.
I do usually like Adam Brody, but when's the last f-ing time anyone has seen him anywhere? Honestly, the last time I can remember seeing him is when he did a movie with, wait for it, Kristen Stewart. I'm sure he's done stuff since then, but not big stuff, which isn't to say it's not as good or he's not as good an actor but still. This looks a helluva lot like sour grapes. And, for the record, Kristen does take issue with the paparazzi but she does give back to the fans a lot. I'd rather have it that way on any day of the week that ends in 'y'. I can see how, if he doesn't pay too close attention, it could seem like that, but she really is one of the only truly original people left in show-business and she gets a lot of crap for it. I wish there were more real unique people, as opposed to the contrived 'uniqueness' that is so much more common lately.
i dont agree at all it is her job to be an actress not to be followed around and im sure everyone would be annoyed if people (like him) went around saying negitive things about us.
plus kristen is one of the only people in the show buisness that isnt fake.
Adam Brody you are a jerk!!!! First of all, you are not in the position to comment since your fan base and popularity is about 1/16 percent. Your filmography or lack of is no comparison to KStew's so you can't imagine the number of paparazzi that surrounds her versus YOU!!! So before you tell her to quit, why don't YOU!!!!
Kristen should quit her complaining! All popular celebrities have paparazzi following them around and that's just part of the job so take it or leave it!
I agree with Brook. She is one actress that is true to herself...She does not pretend or change who she is. So for all of you Kristen Stewart haters, before you say anything about bad about a person, look at a mirror first....
I do think that Adam Brody has no clue as to what it's like to be hounded by paperazzi. Kristen has said that the fans are great but the paperazzi are the ones that are difficult to take. Just because she doesn't like this aspect of her popularity doesn't mean that she should give up the career that she has chosen and seems to really love. If Adam Brody ever becomes this popular, then he can comment. It is important to know something of the subject you are commenting on!
First of all he's not even that famous! Second of all it's not even his business. Being famous and having a bunch if annoying people stalking you and following you around is so different than loving your job and doing what you love to do. She obviously doesn't act because of the fame or the money she does it because she loves it. And if Adam brody is concerned about it then it's clear he does it to get the fame... He shouldn't be wasting his time criticizing her cus she doesn't give a s*** of what people have to say... GO KRISTEN!! Your still hot and amazing ;)
