The verdict is in - people simply cannot get enough of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon.' The film has broken records in its first day of release as well as its midnight screenings.
The film has earned $72.7 million dollars on its opening day - which is a box office record according to a box-office record, Hollywood.com.
According to Bloomberg.com: “New Moon’s total from yesterday includes $26.3 million in midnight showings, according to Los Angeles-based Hollywood.com. “The Dark Knight’s” total also includes midnight showings, with $18.5 million in receipts from them."
Congratulations to all involved in this film - and the franchise for that matter. It looks like when all is said and done, this film is going to be a colossal success.

Awesome! Wow lines were LONG when I arrived early for my 7:00 showing. When the film got to the part where Alice was driving the car in Italy, the film burnt and stopped.... yeah there were lots of angry Twilight fans. I also heard that it happened in the other New Moon showing, but they did fix it.
OMG the cliffhanger? That was not nice, though I know what happens, but still.
