Anna Kendrick, the star of Up in the Air for which she was nominated for an Oscar last night, was interviewed on the red carpet by Ryan Seacrest. Kendrick discusses her last minute change of dress, George Clooney and more.
Kendrick reveals: "This dress was a last minute decision. I am so happy with it. But there was another dress being made and it arrived and it was incredible."
Seacrest asked which dress she "dumped" and Kendrick replies: "The designer will remain nameless. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. It was like a dark blue. I never would have thought that I would wear pink. It was just the right dress. I put it on and I knew. So, pink it is!"
Seacrest asks "many people got to know you through the Twilight franchise, how have your friends on that movie responded to you being at the Oscars?" Kendrick explains: "Everyone has been so supportive and so excited. I saw Kristen [Stewart] at the BAFTAs, and I saw Taylor Lautner last night. Everybody has been so sweet. It has been really fun to see them all."
Seacrest then asks Kendrick, "what would George Clooney say it is like to work with you?" She reveals: "I think he would say it is awesome because he is a really nice guy. He would probably be generous in that way."
