Rumors are rampant stating that Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, and Justin Timberlake are being courted for roles in Ohio, the film based on the 1970 murders of anti-Vietnam War protesters at Kent State University.
Star Magazine is claiming that Timberlake, and Efron, are upset that Pattinson who is a newcomer in their eyes, has been offered a leading role - according to a tabloid spy.
“Everyone in the industry is shocked that Rob is already getting such big roles,” says an insider. Zac and Justin have been working for a lot longer than he has. There is a bit of jealousy there. Zac’s people want him to have the lead. AndJustin’s people have asked that he get a lot of screen time.”
We think they would all be great to see in the film. We wish them all the best in getting cast in the film.

While I enjoy Justin's music, he is not a great actor. His roles have been impressive, though his acting is not on the same level as robert. As for Zac, he does need a break out role away from his Disney days, though this may not be it. I am almost positive that if either Zac or Justin were to have the lead in this movie the only viewers would be teen fans. Robert may have an extreme following of tweens and the like, but he proved himself as an actor with other roles such as "How to Be" and "The Haunted Airman". The key to lead roles may be who you know, but the true test, is how well you act on the screen. The best man won.
If Efron and Timberlake are involved Rob needs to stasy the hell away from this project. The producers sound nuts for looking at Efron and Timberlaiek. They are useless.
Rob's too good for this project if the other two fools are tied to the projetc.

Yeah, cause Zac and Justin have been "in the business" for decades, while Rob is just now hitting the scene. Ridiculous. I laughed out loud when I read this. How many movies have each of these guys been in? Oh yeah JT was in Nysnc when he was like 12, and Zac has been in a bunch of musicals...they're total experts on the matter.
I'm a big Pattinson fan and I;d usually be happy to see a new potential project but not with these two third raters. if this is an indication of the cast list then no way Rob stay well away.

Efron and Timberlake couldnt act their way out of a paper bag. Their jealous of Rob because he's talented, handsome and musical. He's got it all and a lovely personality too. I hoep he doesnt do this film - not with these guys anyway.

Pattinson is a serious actor and these two jokers shoud be painters and decorators. Its too painful to contemplate.
In my opinion, as a Kent State Student and almost graduate, there is not one major role in this movie. Those people playing the roles in this movie should be able to immerse themselves in this era and be able to convey the emotions surrounding this event. Also, the event is very touch and go with the people of this area. Families were torn between for and against this protest. Personally, I know a family that this happened to. Where this film is being shot would be another interesting fact to know.
Rob can do better than working with non entities liek these two.
No way should celebs liek Efron and Timberlake be in a film like this. Robert Pattinson is a super actor and he woudl do justice to it but not the other two.
If Rob Pattinson has a meaty role in this film then great but the fact that the other two talentless guys are being mentioned worries me.
I hope Rob doesnt do it. If the casting directors are looking at Efron and Timberlake it just cant be a quality production. zac efron is just a pretty teen boy, doubt he could handle a role that big. And justin timberlake is barely a singer let alone actor.
Rob has been acting in indi movies, so just because he hasn't been in the lime-light doesn't mean he isn't accomplished.

The thing about Rob is that he hasn't been around much. He came onto the scene and was massively appealing! That's all. He didn't push himself on to the audience. He didn't seek media attention. He's just that beautiful and was embraced by the masses. That's a true star. He was chosen by the audience.

please. Zac was in a kiddie musical and Justins a singer. they have no more experience in film than Robert does. they can get over it.

If Rob Pattinson’s acting ability is being based on the Twilight movies, then movie goers are delusional, that was some of the worst acting I've seen in a while... by the WHOLE cast too by the way. Justin Timberlake is a phenomenal actor, Zac has done some other work too besides High School Musical that has been really good. Those two would deserve the lead anytime over the highly overrated Rob Pattinson.
Twilight is not the only movie Robert Pattinson has starred in. I, too, would feel that he's overrated if he's desirability is based only on that movie alone. But, he's actually done several indie films where he is phenomenal. He's a very versatile actor and watching him play other characters will make anyone appreciate how he played Edward Cullen much more. My two cents.
Can't we just have all three in the movie?? I mean seriously - can you imagine the money they would rake in from us women?? And...they woudl all have to sing at some point in the movie. And maybe..some sort of shirtless parts. Just because.....
Justin & Zac should be ashamed of themselves. If it's true that they are upset with Robert getting a leading role. I've seen Robert in a few movies & i enjoyed his acting. If that is their attitude they don't deserve the attention we give them they are jealous and spiteful and that is something that is not nice in anybody.

Robert is a phenomenal actor and very versatile and would deserve a lead role in film. Forgive but I haven't heard much about Zac and Justin's movie career which I think speaks volumes.
justin and zac are both from disney they have disney syndrome and there egos seem to match . jealousy is not luxury guys . Robert is extraordinary actor and has earned his way obviously ... I think having all three would make for a very interesting movie. I thought Zac and Justin were adults, not children taking a temper tantrum as to who get what. Actors are chosen for characters in a movie based on their likeliness to that character are they not. So what is Zac and Justin's problems - ego not acting ability. It's time people grow up however we can only comment on this based on what the article was written about. There's still a good probability that Zac and Justin did you say that. Sorry guys if that's the case.
