Tiger Woods has been making headlines for the past several days, not for his golf prowess, but for his alleged affairs. Donald Trump has a lot to say in regard to the scandal, but ultimately doesn't think any real backlash will occur.
Trump told Extra: “Tiger’s a great athlete… one of the greatest athletes in the world. He’s had a very interesting and traumatic couple of weeks [but] he’s a wonderful guy.” He adds: "Tiger is going to be hotter than ever before — mark my words. He is a really talented person, and a really good person.”
When asked if he believed the scandal may affect his endorsements, Trump says: "It may affect his endorsements a little bit, but it is a little like Kobe. Nobody remembers the Kobe incident anymore. I think what is important for Tiger, is to get back on the course and start winning tournaments - and he'll do that. He is just the best golfer."

Married women are blinded by love. 'Men' have once night stands and affairs all over the world but cover their tracks so they do not get caught. Having worked in a male dominated world for the past 40 years and I could write a book on what I have heard and witnessed. Tiger has just brought this subject to the surface. At home men are squeaky clean but yearn excitement to feel they still can still pick up and have something to talk to their mates about over a beer. Away from home they look for every opportunity day or night to go on the prowl. Some men have sex with their fellow workers; some pick up from bars; some hire hookers; some get picked up in hotel bars or foyers when travelling; some in restaurants; in some countries men are offered women as part of the business deal by companies to seal the deal, the list goes on. What happened to Tiger, will mean tightening up their own backyards. For Tiger being a public figure the press love exposing him! Tall poppy syndrome at work.

Donald, again I believe that you hit the nail right on the head. Tiger did not break any laws. Yes, he let his wife, children, and all of his fans down but he will bounce back from this. The illusion of Tiger being more than human is just that, an illusion. He is human and has faults. I don't know what caused him to do what he did. Nobody does. Every human (except those who have taken a human life) deserves a second chance. I will support Tiger and I hope he is able to get his life straightened out and be a good husband and father.
Tiger will be just fine long term! The majority of is real fans (i.e. 80%) have been mostly male, and we have focused on his abilities on the golf course. We have put him at this fame level because of his skills on the course, but there will always be a few hens (i.e. women) who want to tear him down. Our society likes to see the fall from grace, but the guys love the sports. Take a look at Brittany, Kobe, Jordon, etc. who had their moments where the media couldn't get enough. The Donald is right on this one! Media needs to get over it and get back to hammering the goverment on spending, jobs, debt, homeless, etc.

Tiger has many, many options. Most can't even imagine what it's like to have those types of options, and please don't even think that most men would make all the right decisions. The people that doing the most complaining are those who are stuck to their armchairs, over weight from too many pizzas, and will never ever be presented these types of options. Get over it!
Jealously will not get you off the couch! Interesting that Tiger didn't want special attention off the golf course when we won the Masters by 10 strokes, but they all want him to speak now. Now why would he break is basic principle now? Obviously, the man is not perfect, but I would like to see how most men would react in his shoes. My bet is that most wouldn't get it right either.
I don't think Tiger is going to recover from this. It's just too big and far reaching. Too many people affected by it. Any sponsors that continue to stay with him imply they condone his behavior. Would you want a sleaze bag being your spokesperson? His wife and everyone should leave him. Doing so sends a message. The message that this type of behavior is not acceptable or tolerated. To Stan, I agree about the sponsors. Too many today just look at how much money they can make with someone. I understand the economics of it, but this scandal takes the cake. If the sponsors don't drop him, they are just as bad as he is. I too won't be buying anything he endorses now or in the future. As decent people we have to stand up for what is right.

No matter what, Tiger will be remembered as the greatest golfer ever to pick up a club. What he does off the course doesn't mean much when it comes to tallying up the wins and the major wins especially. If John Daly had won as much as Tiger has in the last 10 years, he would be the most hailed golfer ever to pick up a club. Hell, John has tons of fans without winning anything. Tiger will eventually get over this and start winning again and this whole thing will be a distant memory.
There is someone extremely wrong with scociety when people like Donald Trump describe someone who has cheated 11 or more times as being a "Wonderful Guy" and then goes on to say that he's going to be hotter than ever. I think this is a marketing stunt as there is clearly a lot of money invested in Tiger. Tiger is morally bankrupted and he may win tournaments but real respect doesn't come with a price tag.
I was such a huge fan of Tigers and first saw him play last year at the Masters. But how I thought he was carrying himself with pride I now view as arrogance. How his features once looked handsome they now look comical.
