Christina Aguilera is planning for her new album and will take it in a new direction by putting a Gothic twist on her new project by way of collaborating with synth-pop band Ladytron.
Aguilera is a fan and invited them quartet and invited them over LA to work on the prkect.
Ladytron founder Daniel Hunt told the Daily Star paper: "We first heard that we were one of Christina's favourite bands last summer. We were chuffed."
Aguilera will also collaborate with Goldfrapp, and Sia Furler on the new album due out later this year.
