Brittany Murphy's family and friends remain devastated over her sudden and tragic passing. RadarOnline interviewed one of Murphy's good friends, Eric Balfour.
Balfour says of his friend: “Brittany was one of my oldest friends and I supported her marriage. There’s no easy way through this and I can’t imagine what he’s [Simon] going through right now.” Balfour continued: “I’ve known her since I was 14 years old. We just want to make sure we take care of our friends and family…we take care of Sharon and Simon and honor Brittany as best we can.”
When asked how the family is doing he said: “It was devastating. Everyone’s devastated. We’re just trying to be strong for the family. It’s a tragedy…life is fragile.”
Murphy's husband Simon Monjack has told Access Hollywood, according to RadarOnline: “My world was destroyed yesterday." He discusses what happened that morning. He says: “[Her Mother] Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran. Then I called 911.” According to Monjack: “She had laryngitis. She had been tired at the end of the year. She had made a couple movies.”
