What a sigh of relief!
Skins fans can breathe easy... we will not be struck with the infamous Jessica Simpson curse.
We told you last week how rumors were afoot that the Redskins back-up QB might be trying to win Jessica's heart.
Now, Colt Brennan has denied having any ties to the blonde bombshell who famously dated rival Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.
USAToday Sports reports than none of the rumored wooing has been going down and Brennan gave a funny quote to the McLean-based paper:
My life coach, (Redskins TE) Chris Cooley, said that I should neither confirm nor deny it. But me being an honest guy, I have no idea what that's about."
This makes us happy for two reasons: 1) Thank goodness there will be no such distractions in the owner's box. Aren't Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hanging with Danny Snyder enough? 2) We like that Brennan and Cooley are buddies.
