106.7 The Fan is coming and some WJFK radio personalities are weighing in with their opinions online through social media.
The most telling of these posts came from Chad Dukes earlier today via his Twitter account.
He posted the picture to the right, which was part of the roll-out for advertisers earlier today at the Verizon Center. The banner outlines the expected schedule and if you can't read it clearly, here is what it says:
5-10AM The Sports Junkies
10AM - 2PM The Mike Wise Show
2-6PM The Lavar Arrington Show with Chad Dukes
Just to fill everyone in, Mike Wise is a sports columnist with the Washington Post.
The slate of shows all but confirms the canning of the Mike O'Meara Show, also mentioned below in tweets. We hope he will land elsewhere soon.
Also, Eric Bickel (or at least who we think is Eric Bickel) weighed in on the format flip on his Twitter account as well. He answered fan questions and here are the highlights (the most recent posts first):
THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY CHANGE AS FAR AS THE PODCASTS GO. DON'T SWEAT IT!

about 2 hours ago from TweetDeckFor the record: IMO Big O and Dukes = Great show. Mike O'meara =radio legend. Both shows will be missed.
about 2 hours ago from TweetDeckOscar is going to be used by the company potentially in a lot of ways. Oscar is great. He shouldn't miss a check. Good dude.
about 2 hours ago from TweetDeckThe show doesn't change! Drab produces Chad and Lavar.

@DeadmanNYC Mike is a radio legend in this town. I'm sure if he wants to work he can. Oscar is going to find something within the company.
about 3 hours ago from TweetDeck in reply to DeadmanNYC@puertorok13 Nothing show wise will change. Our show has always been based in sports. But we do a sports/pop culture show already. All good
about 3 hours ago from TweetDeck in reply to puertorok13Just got back from the Verizon Center. Any questions? :0)

A musician takes on a major airline after his guitar is damaged during a flight -- with song. The State is released on DVD and comedy fans rejoice.

this sucks
Stupid, stupid, stupid...finally found a great line-up that worked all-day. Even saved a bit of cash getting free content for the 7-10PM slot.
What a waste...24/7 box scores. Also brilliant timing...nothing meaningful in the sports world for 2 months...all day coverage of Skins training camp, joy.
Terrible news - I listened every day to WJFK but I don't care for sports radio (I tolerated the junkies talking about it). If I did I probably would have listened to the ESPN channel. I just hope another station will fill this niche or I'm moving to internet radio.
Oscar and Dukes should start a show on another station. I'd definitely follow.
Well the management has manged to completely scuttle this station. I echo Big Daddy's comments. Just take the garbage off the dial already.
I am a fan - other than big-o and dukes, they really lost nothing. Mike O'meara was a joke...He should have never had a show to start with. The Junkies carried the station and they will continue to do so.
the junkies rule but the other two shows suck veryyyyyyyyyyyyy bbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaddddlllllllyyyyyyyyy.
I like that they have gone all sports I listen to the station now more then I ever did before. The only negative is that LaVar still isn't that good but I'm sure he will improve.
Mcnabb is a skin
Rocky on the fan is a babbling idiot
aye yo what up wit dat snacks of the round table..classic,Duke i know u missit..bring dat beat back.
