Showbizspy has reported that Robert Pattinson says he believes he has stayed fairly normal during his acting career. The Twilight saga star says he thinks he is pretty "down to earth" and could never act like a star.
The sexy vampire says he doesn't make crazy demands but he does insist on have a driver. He says he is a terrible driver and refuses to do it.
"I love throwing things around in my hotel room haha," Robert joked. "No, seriously, I think I've stayed pretty normal, I am much to down to earth to make crazy demands. Well, except for a private chauffeur, but that is only because I am a disaster on the road and others even forbid me to drive."
Rob commented on his fame. Saying it is "a bit overwhelming" being the most wanted man in Hollywood.
"At this moment it is too much, everywhere I go, girls are screaming or fainting," Pattinson said. "I don't understand why, because I am a normal guy who is not at all doing his best to be noticed. And really; I'm not as sexy as Brad Pitt?"
As we all know there are many rumors about Rob and his co-star Kristen. One of the most recent rumors are the engagement ones. Robert also made comments about this subject.
"This engagement thing is total bullshit, I don't even know where it comes from," he said earlier this month. "Kristen is my friend, I really like to work with her. She's more mature than her age, a real professional, I couldn't wish a better partner, because she makes my every move, every sentence authentic.
"A big franchise like Twilight is a scary thing, because it put me on the map and I'll have it for my whole life. So it's important to get along with my partner, and Kristen is the perfect partner. She sets the bar high, so I must deliver too.
"My only weapon for self-defense is to not care about the rumors. I concentrate on my work and on the positive sides of fame. You can't even imagine how big it is that I don't have to go to castings anymore. They are the worst. Especially when you don't get the job in the end. Now I have lots of people around me, looking out for me, asking me if the script is ok with me. People say hi to me, smile at me on the street, come up to me to shake my hand. Lots of people stop me just to congratulate. That's when I realize that there are so many good, nice, normal people. And they are the majority."

Of course he's gonna say all that crap. Name a star that ever told you what a total as_ they are. Look there is nothing genuine or real about this guy. That's why all his Twi zombies are so confused. Not just with Kristen but on lots of subjects he says one thing and then something totally different a week later. The drugs have burned to many brain cells. He said that when he thought of movies or movie stars he only thinks of Americans and he would rather do an american accent because it seems more movie like that he didn't want to use his british accent he goes on to say something to the effect of no big British stars. Then two weeks later he wants to be James Bond. There has never been an american James Bond, and Hello! Britian has some the greatest actors in the world but in Britain you need talent in America you only need a bunch of little girls whose Daddy's give them money to see the same movie 50 times. Also, I gurantee he's not the most wanted man in Hollywood.
It is good once and a while to see that someone has a head on their shoulders. Don't change Rob!! Don't listen to the gossip!! And stay true to yourself tben you can say your life is your own and not what these people wants you to be.
I think he's an awesome actor and am glad to see he is doing so well in his movies.
I don't understand why some people has to be so rude about Rob. He is a great actor and he really does seem down to earth. I wish I could meet him because he seems like a good guy. I love Robert Pattinson! He seems so nice and down to earth and talented not to mention gorgeous. It is refreshing that someone like him is so unhollywood.
Um Lucy, the very first person to play James Bond was a Californian named Barry Nelson and the second person offered to play him was a New Yorker named Patrick McGoohan. America has many talented actors and not all of them were made superstars by tweens. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were put on the map by their portrayal of a best selling saga. It wasn't so long ago that every female squealed at the sight of Leo Dicaprio after his role as Jack in the every popular Titanic. Rob is having his day in the sun and I say good for him!

Has certain people on this posting site ever heard of "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all?" You people that are haters have serious mental issues, and need to reflect that to yourself and examine your motivations for such negativity that you put out. Now that is over with, Rob is a very talented, real, and good person. He has always never confirmed a romantic involvement with Kristen. When at BAFTA he was asked if they were together, as in arrived that way. He explained that they were there at the event together, but could not come in at the same time due to the craziness due to their arrival together. So, him saying "we are together, yes" did NOT mean they are all in love. They are close, probably are sleeping together, but marriage? Nope, he is playing the field as he should be at 23 years old. He is free, fun, and real. A good man to be admired and extremely talented! Long life to you ROB! Your true fans will always love you!!!

I'm old enough to remember Marlon Brando, James Dean, Paul Newman and Robert Redford in their youth and, after seeing Remember Me twice, I think Rob is as fine an actor as any of these men were at his age. Twilight succeeded because of the authenticity Rob and Kristen brought to their characters. Can't you see what a feat it was to make Edward Cullen believable--and in white pancake makeup and red lipstick, yet. Rob, if you read this, please, please demand a more naturalistic makeup next time. Edward is supposed to be pale, but not so pale that he can't pass as a normal person, at least in the shade. And he's not supposed to wear red lipstick and inch-wide black eyebrows.
We all have different opinions which is a good thing. I just can't imagine anyone seeing Remember Me and not thinking he is a great actor. I didn't know who R.Pattinson was until I saw the movie. His talent is amazing. Also a great movie. Iam not a twilight fan but it seems to me to pull off the character of Edward would be really hard. He seems to be one of those actors that comes out of no where and has it all.
One thing for Lucy....Kiss Americas butt like the rest of the world! You don't get on sites if you don't already have an interest in the person now do you?

rob is truely a beautiful person,shy,funny,honest,self depreciating,sweet,a darn good actor--remember me was so well done. he proved how well he could act in this. as for kristen--she is too rude,ungreatful,nasty mouthed,manly acting and one expression person,she could only drag him down to her level. he is too nice for that. god bless you rob and keep you happy,healthy and safe

I really enjoy watching Robert on screen. He, Kristen and all the actors have done a wonderful job with Twilight. This saga really is a wonderful story, book wise and movie wise. Books and movies are there to help you get away from the reality of your world and enjoy some down time. I am far from being a teenager and I LOVE the whole idea of Twilight. I think Robert has done a wonderful job for someone so young and he even says that he was not trained as an actor. I Loved him in Remember Me, he brought out so much emotion. He is the first peron to laugh at himself, sometimes a little too honest but you have to love him for that. I saw him on an old interview yesterday and he was asked if he would want to be immortal, and he said that he would love to have the wisdom and the respect that you gain with aging. I think that says alot about him as a person, I know other guys in his position would take advantage of this time. Thank you Robert for all you have brought us.

HEY...i think robert has done a great job in twilight saga and even kristen was as perfect as robert,others have also done a great job,it seemed real and being a teenager of 14 nd half,i was nt able to keep myself away from itz overwhelming nd was lost in the movie for a very long time,even during my school hours.i was all the best to all my favourites of twilight for their upcoming eclipse and breaking dawn.ND YA the ECLIPSE promo was great .anxious nd exited to see it now....!!:-)
That was a great interview. Very talented actors. Stephenie Meyer has a vivid imagination that I am glad she was able to put it down on paper and share. Rob is hot and so is Kristen. And so is Tayler, and Peter...well, the Cullen clan is hot actually. All of them. Let Rob and Kristen to their personal life. Not anyone's business but theirs...let's not get so wrapped up in their personal life that we forget about the magic they make on screen.
