Nerd Herders rejoice!
'The Little Show That Could' just keeps on chugging up that hill.
According to Josef Adalian at TVMoJoe, NBC has ordered another six episodes of Chuck, bringing the grand total to 19-- just three short of what's considered a full season. It has also been confirmed by Variety and THR.
The virtues of Chuck have already been espoused by critics and... well... other people. It's easily one of the freshest and most fun shows on television (and, as such, is living in a state of constant peril-- recently diagnosed as Arrested Development Syndrome.)
The plan had been to bring Chuck back in March (yes, fully 10 months after the season two finale), so it remains to be seen how these six extra eps will affect that (especially with those pesky Olympics wreaking havoc). The going thought is that our favorite super-spy might be back in January.
In the meantime, the buzz keeps buzzing, which never hurts.
So grab a $5 footlong and crank up the Jeffster.
