Charlize Theron kissed a girl Thursday night at a charity event for OneXOne, a nonprofit foundation focused on helping children in developing countries. Matt Damon was scheduled to host the event before called away due to a family emergency.
Theron was on stage to auction off a trip to Africa that included a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela. When bidding capped out at $37,000 after actor Jeremy Piven raised $280,000, Theron raised the stakes.
She made an offer to include a 7-second kiss by a male bidder for $130,000. She told him, "Swine flu is going around. This is high risk kissing."
After one man bid $135,000, a woman jumped in with an offer for $140,000. She kissed Theron for 20 seconds as the audience counted down.
