Astonishing video of a six-month old baby being hit by a train was captured by closed-circuit cameras. The incident happened at a suburban Melbourne, Australia train station Thursday afternoon.

The baby was strapped in a stroller that rolled forward out of the mother's hands and toppled onto the train tracks right before the train pulled into the station. The baby was dragged underneath the train but miraculously survived with no injuries.

Another piece of evidence; there IS a God.

Glad that kid's okay, but, Ray, explain to me, how exactly does this story allude to the existence of a god?

Sooo...if one baby being saved proves there is a god then that would mean that in addition to that, he also allowed the slaughter of thousands of Jews during the Holocaust. If there is a god he doesn't have a very good track record.

Around 27,000 children under the age of 5 die every day from preventable causes (see unicef.org) and because one baby survives a train, we're supposed to be all "yay god"? Give me a break! This is an amazing coincidence and that's it. The vast majority of children aren't so lucky...

    Elephantitis:

Evil exists because human beings don't have the love of God in the hearts. God gave humans the gift of freewill; for this reason, blame Hitler not God for the Holocaust. AND don't forget, that even the JEWS killed CHRIST, who after all, came from their own people and He did nothing evil but perform miracles for them, yet they crucified Him.

You can't prove that God has nothing to do with it either. Its all about faith. And just like 27,000 die everyday from preventable causes, there may be another 27,000 who don't die from preventable or unpreventable causes. No one knows, God's wisdom.

The child's survival had nothing to do with "the hand's of God" That is phrase in itself is pure personification.

One has a right to their own beliefs, of that I will agree. Science is my belief, the laws of physics - my Bible. But I will not thump my beliefs onto another person, unless they challege me with their whimsy.

Now, if I am not mistaken, Pontius Pilate was the man who crucified your Jesus. He was the prefect/governor of Judaea, which was part of the Roman Empire and part of present day Israel.

    (...con.)

Pontius Pilate, was not Jewish. In fact he was disrespectful to the Jewish people of his prefecture and forced them into a despotic life.
