Taylor Swift graces the cover of People magazine's "25 Most Intriguing People of 2009" issue. 2009 was a remarkable year for the young country singer. Swift had the best-selling album of the year, Fearless, a sold out tour and became the youngest winner of the CMA's Entertainer of the Year Award. Early next year, she is up for eight Grammy awards.

Swift is joined by Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson, Kate Gosselin, whose impending divorce with Jon Gosselin has made headlines all year, singers Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and the woman with the current number one album, Susan Boyle.

The list includes headliners such as survivor Jaycee Dugard, and pilot Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger III, who became an American hero after safely landing his flight in New York's Hudson River.

Sarah Palin, on a book tour for his bestselling memoir, Going Rogue, and the Obamas also made the list, as well as reality TV stars, the Kardashians and 'Real Housewives.'
