Snooki's arrest Friday night at the Jersey Shore was merely an attempt to keep her name in fame says ex, Emilo Masella.  Snooki has competition with a new girl in the house right now and she wants to make sure her name remains the number one quoted with MTV's Jersey Shore fans.

Emilo Masella spoke with RadarOnline and said the Snooki is "an alcoholic and she does not know when to stop. She will drink until she drops". Of course this man is her "ex", and it does not sound as if he is somebody who has got Snooki's back. He did express he was not surprise to hear of her arrest.

Masella told RadarOnline that "Snooki's dream" was to appear on Celebrity Rehab, and Masella said by the looks of things she is 99% there. It sounds as if he meant she is 99% close to qualifying with her drinking and not that Celebrity Rehab is close to taking her. Although, Snooki's arrest could be enough to grab Dr. Drew and his staff's attention.

Season 2 of Jersey Shore opened to mixed reviews this week. Many die-hard fans were "pumped" and ready for more, where others questioned if the show has lost it's magic now that the gang holds "celebrity status". One such article came out in People Magazine when the question was asked in the title, "Is the Magic Gone"?

Maybe Snooki is auditioning for Celebrity Rehab, with this arrest at the Jersey Shore?  Her ex-boyfriend did say he believes her hard partying ways is a sign of  a "more troubling situation"

Snooki's arrest did not last long, she was out the same day as she went in. The crew from Jersey Shore showed up at the police department to show their support for Snookums!

The Jersey Shore has often been a destination for Connecticut families during the summer season. It is only a four to five hour drive from the state, depending where you live in Connecticut.
