Selena Gomez won’t dress for anyone, not even Justin Bieber, because she’ll only wear clothes that she feels good in, according to Gather. She goes on to say, “At the end of the day you feel your best when you dress in something you actually love.” Selena offered up this advice in her new video from behind the scenes of her new “Dream Out Loud” photo shoot.
Her new “Dream Out Loud” clothing line does have a lot of her taste weaved through the articles, but Selena said they’re made to mix and match so you can use these tops and bottoms to create your own look. This young woman is sending a positive message out to teens about dressing for your own comfort and style and not dressing for your boyfriend or to fit in with your peers.
Selena promotes being an individual and not listening to the thousands of articles online or in magazines with celebrities telling you how to dress. Even though Selena is doing this behind the scenes video while promoting her new clothing line, the message she’s sending to her fans is a good one!
Selena’s one of a group of former Disney kids that have a generation’s attention. What they do with this, as far as being a role model, is up to them. So far Selena has kept her young fans in mind when trying to be a role model.
She’s not partying and getting into trouble like a few other ex-Disney kids, who are now young adults. Selena is sending out positive messages and what’s even more important, she’s actually living like a role model.
