How did Tyra Banks lose weight? Find out on Friday's show...

Those of us who watched Tyra Banks' season 5 premiere show where she unveiled her real hair also noticed that Tyra Banks lost weight, too.

Immediately taking to Google, I noticed other people were tweeting about Tyra Banks losing "mad weight" -- but I couldn't find out how she did it.

Alas, the Tyra Show website says that Tyra will discuss her weight loss on Friday's show, September 11, 2009.

Tyra alluded to her weight loss secrets when she said that she'll sometimes wear her weave or wig again, if she's been working out like crazy.

So she's obviously hitting the gym or something.

Tyra said women don't relate as much to her when she loses weight and is down to 148 lbs...

That's a number that Tyra Banks threw out to her fans in the past, saying that women don't relate to her as much when she's skinnier, like 148 pounds on her tall frame. But perhaps she's down to that weight again -- because showing off her thin frame in a black jumpsuit on her premiere show, she's definitely noticeably thinner than in recent seasons.

Who can forget when the statuesque beauty revealed her 161-pound weight on a show where everyone in the audience wore their weight on their shirts?

That was all in response to photogs grabbing swimsuit pics of her at bad angles -- which led to Tyra famously telling them to kiss her "fat" behind.

Tyra Banks has talked about dramatically losing weight before, but that was because of heartbreak.

She said a guy she was dating "tried to break her down" by playing their favorite song whilst he broke up with her. Tyra said she drove home crying, nearly driving off a cliff -- because the guy who broke her heart lived up in the California canyons.

After that, she dropped tons of weight from being so upset -- and people at fashion industry parties told Tyra she looked great!

Well, she looked great again today...but I pray it wasn't from heartbreak.

Perhaps getting ready to don a Vera Wang wedding gown? Hmmm...?
