Cleveland-area folks have gotten a peek at Shaquille O'Neal's leased home, and now we're seeing the Cleveland Cavaliers player heavy on the local news since Shaq visited an area Toys R Us store in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, on Sunday.
Shaq gave $1,000 to the Marine Toys For Tots foundation, and spoke with reporters about his dad, who told him one Christmas that there wasn't enough money to buy presents for Shaq's sisters and Shaq.
His dad had to buy the girls' Barbies, and told Shaq he'd get him something the next paycheck, but when Shaq woke up Christmas Day, he said his father had purchased him an autographed (what he thought was a real autograph, at least) Dr. J basketball -- an unexpected gift that helped launch his successful career.
It's all a part of his "Legend of Shaq Claus" program with Toys R Us, one that encourages people to buy toys for children who otherwise may receive little to no toys during the holidays.

This is the BEST video ever. Shaq is a sweetheart! When he talks about how he was "partners" with Toys R Us and Toy's R Us didn't even know it, he gave from his heart. He also should sing the commercial's song for real - he sang it so cute! He has really impressed me with his generosity!
