Forbes.com names Cleveland most miserable city; residents disagree

Forbes.com may have crowned Cleveland, Ohio, as their most miserable city due to the joblessness rate, cold weather and other factors, but some folks who actually live in or around Cleveland disagree.
The Canton Repository calls Forbes' list a "pile of mush" and publishes the email address of the editor.
We have one of the best hospital systems in the world -- the Cleveland Clinic Hospital -- where stars like Oprah and Robin Williams have come for treatment.
Cleveland has a new state-of-the-art aquarium coming soon, not to mention the tourism dollars gained from visitors to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and other locations along Lake Erie.
Singers like CeCe Winans find Cleveland good enough to come here, along with another big-name singer coming this summer. (Stay tuned...)
Shaq hangs out in favorite Cleveland eateries, and LeBron James is being begged not to leave his spot in "The Q".
But even folks who are down and out and have a hard time making ends meet find solace and free food in places that are expanding around Cleveland -- like The Word Church, which gives out free groceries and has locations in East Tech and Shaw High School "in the heart of the hood" and in their main location.
RA Vernon, pastor of the church, says that he won't accept Forbes and other magazines continually deeming Cleveland as their "worst" city. Many other residents of the area agree.

i was born and raised in cleveland. i moved to florida 25 yrs ago. i wish i could go back. if i could take my job to cleveland i would. granted i have not been back in 25 years but it can't be as bad as florida.
