In watching the full interview of Chris Brown with Larry King -- with his mother and attorney sitting by his side as well, viewers are having mixed reactions today.
Some fans still support Chris Brown, realizing it's human to make mistakes.
Others find the abuse abhorrent and refuse to forgive Chris Brown's assault against Rihanna -- and claim his career is over.
Watch the full interview of Chris Brown on Larry King here...What was troubling to some viewers of the Chris Brown / Larry King interview was the singers reaction to King's questioning of two prior incidents involving Rihanna read from the probation report.
As Larry King read of alleged previous violence reports -- one involving Chris Brown (according to court documents) smashing the windows of a car ) and another involving angry reactions -- Brown furrowed his brow and denied the happenings, forcing his lawyer to step in and explain.
Still, the full video of Chris Brown on Larry King displays the singer's mother defending her son, saying that Chris was never violent growing up.
When Larry King displayed images of Chris Brown and Rihanna at Sean Combs' house on jet-skis, Brown admitted that he was there with Rihanna, attempting to reconcile with the woman who'd become not just his girlfriend, but best friend.
Brown told King that he definitely still loves Rihanna, and that he's also in love with her, but because of the stay-away order, he hasn't been with her or spoken to her in two months.

PEOPLE NEED TO STOP TRIPPING OVER THIS, GIVE THE GUY A BREAK, HE IS NOT THE FIRST AND WON'T BE THE LAST TO DO THIS, SO GIVE IT A BREAK AND LET THE MAN LIVE HIS LIFE, I WILL STILL BUY HIS CD AND WILL SURPORT HIM TOO.
It seemed to me that he wasn't answering most of the questions straight forward at all. As far as the prior incidents of abuse go he flat out lied. Being a fan of his since i was 13 or so, the interview completely changed my mind about him. I hope his record sells very poorly and you can guarantee I won't have a copy.
Jackie, if you condone his behavior, it just makes it alright in other young men's eyes to do the same. there has to be repercussions for any actions, and he doesn't deserve the fame and recognition he now receives. He is a common criminal, abuser and now a liar. Is that the role model you want for your children? It's ok for a man to hit YOUR daughter, apparently, because after all, he's not the first one to do it...give him a break.
chris brown is a complete liar and cannot be trusted
I tuned into Larry King Live last night and watched the interview with Chris Brown; who was able to say, he is "ashamed" for his actions. As an anger management coach and trainer, it is known that those people who can "own their own", do better, resolve their conflict, and live happier lives, than those who think "others are to blame".
Domestic abuse is never acceptable.
Chris has the opportunity to make the difference in the lives of young men by being the role model-- now. Learning and incorporating emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and emotional options will serve Chris Brown well in any relationship. Best of luck, Chris. www.soniabrillconsulting.com
Honestly? he isn't the first okay...But if all the comments and posts of discontent show the inhumane, sick, ignorance of dome-assult-and violence then hecks yeah i'm a run my mouth a mile on a creature like chris....Folks need to know bust'n someone up is worst than animal abuse...An this jawn right here isn't getting the same punishment my dude got who did the dog fights.... So what does that tell you? this creature brown needs a harsher punishment....
He evades alot and Larry hardly plays hardball. What a joke.
i dnt believe its anyones place to judge him. he said he was guilty he didnt deny it and he's remorseful for his action so i think everyone should comment on thier own lifes one sin or crime doesnt overshadow another let he who is witout sin cast the first stone...
he apologized!!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone makes mistakes!! i still luv u chris and i hope evrything goes well with u!!!
the funny thing about all the negativity surrounding this situation is domestic violence happens everyday. to anyone. just because chris brown is a celebrity does not make him a monster for falling victim to this ugly circumstances. a lot of people are just speaking out of anger without knowing the situation. i believe until we know in full what happened, which we never will, it is not our place to judge. leave that up to the people who went to school for that to do so. i am still a fan and possibly forever will be. i don't look at him any different for making a mistake. as humans we were meant to learn; sometimes it takes a mistake to do so. he's only 20 years old. the kid still has a lot of living to do. until he makes a similar mistake again, i say we just accept his apology and move on. after all, we are not the victims here; but he was a gentleman to apologize to us all.
love you chris!
HOP OF D4T NIGG4. H3 54ID 5ORRY 5O L3T D4 5HIT B3. BUT I5 H3 TO FIN3... H3 5TILL C4N G3T IT.
Did anyone notice he didn't even hold his Mom's hand or console her when she was crying? And he really beated around the bush about answering questions and never admitted he did this.
The only thing on his mind is if his career will continue; not sorry.
all these girls saying it's not a big deal & he said sorry...what if something like that happened to your mom or someone u loved??!!! would it still be "not a big deal" cause he apologized?!! think before u defend him! he seriosly needed a harsher punishment
I dont know why this is still going on. He got his punishment so why are people still making such a huge deal about it. Leave Chris alone. he made a mistake soo what nobodys perfect!!!!!! We all make mistakes. and plus if Rihanna forgave him (and she was the actuall victim) then why arent you guys. How does this really affect YOU??!! Forgive the kid once and for all. I loved chris, i still love chris and i will always love him no matter what. Keep doing your think Breezy. Love Klaudia
he made a mistake. but its funny that he really isnt having to deal with that truly because all of you stupid people shouting about how much you love him (like you really even know him). he is a bastard as is any man that hits a woman. he is old enough he should know better. and no i am not the victim, but i am a woman who has been hit before and its not something that should be taken lightly.
we don't have to personally know chris to say we love him. we know and may love him for his music, dancing, acting, and any other reason we feel. as far as amber calling him a bastard; okay hypocrite. do you know this man to judge him? you only say that because of the mistake he made. like i said, part of growing is learning. rater from a mistake or anything else life has to offer. nobody and i do mean nobody is perfect. so for all of those saying mean unnecessary things, step back at look at your own lives first before criticizing someone else's. you can't say, "oh what if it was your mom?" you can't say that because it's not. that's just like me saying, "what if rihanna was your dad and he beat your mom's ass. would you still love or even like him?" hm. for everyone whose not letting this issue fade with time, i suggest you find another hobby other than hating people who aren't perfect. trust me, nobody leaving comments is.
i know people that are in the type of relationship where they fight each other and f&*k eachother up all the time and they dont even feel bad about it they just make up and thats that man he a kid these people grown let him make that mistke now while hes young cut him some slack what he did was wrong but mata fact there aint no but it was wrong. Its like this he feel bad even if he dont he no lovin this medea, i say enough is enough he did it, it happened, i he said he was sorry 400,035,680 times, he pick the trash up, she healed.THE END
I JUST WANNA ADD IT SAY "NO" IN THAT LAST POST IT SHOULD SAY NOT
LATTER
he kept dodgin questions, cause he knew he beat the crap outta her, like his mom said he hasnt been in any fights so he wants to beat a girl cause he is to much of a coward to fight a grown man! i could understand if she kept hittin him and he beat her ass or if she gave him a disiese but atleast hit her a few and be done with it lol
i cant believed dat happened
Got something to say?
