Last night I was poking around Kandi Burruss' Twitter account, following all the people she follows that I recognized, and that's how I found the Twitter account of Brandy Norwood, called Brandy Ray' Norwood (4everBrandy).

One of the now 30-year-old Brandy's tweets caught my eye, and I made a mental note of it before adding Norwood to my Google RSS Reader:

"I'm on cloud 9 right now-All the love from my youtube video and my performance last night with Tim, I am OVERWHELMED-Thank you for loving me," wrote Brandy on Twitter.

Hmm...I wondered, what YouTube video?

Today, while checking out YouTube's most-viewed videos, I see that Brandy was tweeting about this a capella video of her singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in her bathroom, with great acoustics, sounding great, looking lovely -- even though she titles the video with words saying she had no makeup on:

So in the two short days that seemingly impromptu YouTube performance video went up, Brandy's gotten almost 75,000 views and over 800 ratings, proving that the young girl who first blasted onto our TVs wearing braids, swinging on a swing and singing "I wanna be down..." still has our hearts and interests.

Even as we watched Brandy Norwood go through life as Moesha, then birth her baby on a reality TV show, endure a break up, and then get splashed over the pages of websites due to a horrific car accident, we are still watching and wanting the best for her life.
