Rock and Roll's Scorpions after 40 years together making plans for the final tour

German Rock legends the Scorpions are planning to end their 40 year career together with one final album and a two year world goodbye tour.

According  to Cincinnati Metromix Rudolph Schenker the groups founder and  guitarist has revealed that the band will release one final album entitled "Sting In The Tail" . The album is scheduled to hit stores on March 19th 2010.

Bloomberg.com also reported that the band is making plans to engage on a two year world wide goodbye tour with scheduling dates to include Germany,The United States,South America, Asia and Russia. The Scorpions released a press statement saying "We are extremely grateful for the fact that we still have the same passion for music we've always had since the beginning. This is why ,especially now we agree we have reached the end of the road."

The Scorpions have released more than 20 albums together since the band got its start in 1965. You can pick up your copy of The Scorpions"Sting In The Tail"  at your local Best Buy.     The Scorpions are quite simply one of the best bands of all time!

    Rudolph Schenker is not the lead guitarist. Matthias Jabs is. Michael Schenker played lead on the debut album,'Lonesome Crow', then Ulrich Roth played lead, then Matthias. Rudolph plays rhythm.
