Showbizspy.com reported on the story that Sir Elton John has been getting a slew of phone calls from former Wham singer George Michael's friends, all expressing their concern for Michael's well being.

It was stated that George Michael's friends are so worried about the singer's drug and sex addictions they feel that Elton John may be the only person left to convince Michael's to seek treatment.

Legendary popstar Elton John's husband David Furnish revealed 'They keep calling us and saying You have to do something, George is in a bad way."

Furnish continued in stating that "George has to want help himself and if he wants help we are here for him. If he doesn't want help that is his choice too or if he doesn't think he needs help then that's also fine."

Singer George Michael has openly spoke out about his drug use and love for meeting men for casual sex, but most recently voiced his concerns about Elton John voicing his concerns on how he lives his life. George Michael said "Elton will not be happy until I bang on his door in the middle of the night saying .Please ,please help me Elton, take me to rehab. It's not going to happen.

Friends of George Michael keep expressing their concerns about Michael's health and his state of mind , thinking Elton has experienced sobriety for the past 19 years and that he would be in the best position to help George Michael..
