The grand jury refused to indict the 53 year old man arrested in August for stalking Pop sensation Miley Cyrus while on a movie location on the Georgia coast.
Chatham County grand jury decide that there was insufficient evidence to charge Mark Mcleod in felony court. Mcleod was arrested on August the on Cyrus's movie set. Mcleod resisted removal attempts from the set telling police he was engaged to marry 'Hannah Montana'.
Mcleod's attorney James Byrne said he suspects Mcleod may suffer from mental delusions, but never posed a threat to Miley Cyrus. Byrne also stated "The grand jury showed some common sense, which no one else in this case seems to have, which is there is nothing to these charges. He didn't stalk anyone,he didn't threaten anyone. He acted strangely and that is why he is in jail."
Mcleod remain in jail according to reports from the 'Associated Press' because the unemployed assistant plumber can't afford the $55,200 bond. Plans are in motion to ask the Judge to lower the bond.
