Steven Tyler of Areosmith band members learn online that he is quitting the band
Yahoo music reports That the band Areosmith's members have learned of front man Steven Tyler's intention to quit the band online."Steven's quit as far as I can tell, I don't know anymore than you do. I saw online that Steven said he was going to quit the band, other than that I don't know stated lead guitarist Joe Perry."
This comes just months after Tyler spoke out publicly to dismiss reports of the band splitting up following a year of canceled shows due to injuries and accidents.
Perry claims the discord in the band is lack of communication on Tyler's part. "He is notorious for that, that's one thing I've learned to live with." Perry also said that he was determined to continue with the band even if Tyler refuses to return.

Do the right thing and change the name of the band. Just like how Rage Against The Machine changed their name to Audioslave.
If Van Halen changed their name when Sammy Hagar first joined, it wouldn't have been such a problem.
I think, there's no Aerosmith without Steven Tyler. Without him will be just a cover band with the old members.

Aerosmith will just be an origanal band without Steven Tyler. Tyler & joe perry are the two guys who make me listen to Aerosmith.
I think Lenny Kravits is a poor substitute for Stevewn Tyler. Kravits is great but , I think Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes would do great.!

I'm a big aerosmith fan, have been for more years than I care to mention. But if I had to throw a name out there, it would be Adam Lambert. Just for pure curiosity :)
They could become better than ever. Remember when AC/DC was forced to find a new singer and came out with Back in Black? or when Genisis lost Peter Gaberial?
There are a lot of good choices what about Joe Lynn Turner?
I don't think Steven Tyler is a good singer. If the band need to look for another singer, I would go with Scott Weiland way better singer.
Areosmith was old when I was born in 1971. Are you kidding me! Your just lucky by the time I was buying music Run DMC came along and gave retired, broken, no future Areosmith ... a future again. Love the band members hate the band. Yes, Greatest hits was the best album ever ... lost my virginity to it :)
I LOVE AREOSMITH THEY ARE SUCH A GOOD BAND! THEY HAVE GOOD SONGS SUCH AS ANGEL. STEVEN HAS AN AWESOME VOICE NO ONE OR NO BAND CAN EVER SOUND AS GOOD AS THEM!. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS LOVE YA : )
