"I voted for George Abott because I believe that he is the best person to re-united our caucus, which will be somewhat divided after this leadership contest. He is also the best person to hold together the coalition of conservatives and liberals that make up the BC Liberal Party."
That's independent MLA Bill Bennett, in an interview with Fiona Morrow ( no relation ) for the Globe and Mail. But earlier today he seemed ready enough to support Christy Clark's victory at the BC Liberal leadership convention yesterday, saying on Facebook that: "Christy Clark won the BCLP leadership fair & square. Where I come from, the winner of a fair contest is the winner and deserves to be supported."
