Young people will protest porn while Baltimore rots

By now you have heard about the porno controversy in College Park. A XXX rated movie was going to be shown but then the Government said no. The students then decided it was time to protest and in the end they won and got to see the porno last night.

What Rebels! What a worthy cause! They complain about freedom of speech, talk about China, and use all sorts of other so-called "Rebel" catch phrases. Guess what though? These kids are a bunch of tools! They are part of the lazy do-nothing spoiled generation that grew up in luxury in the DC and Baltimore suburbs. They would not know a real local political issue if it kicked them in the butt. How many of them have been to West Baltimore? How many of them have ever questioned what the Mayor or Governor have done? Take away a silly porno that they can watch on the Internet at any time and they go crazy. Easy issues for simple people.  They make it easy for the local establishment to become even stronger.  Sheep.

Oh Adam dearest, don't even get me started. Yes, tools! Yes, Sheep!!!! And I read they only watched 30 minutes of the movie anyway--it's really nothing that will change your life that film. Everyone got so riled up and first-amendmentised. And for what? Nothing! Just a high budget skin-flick! The lawmakers are as dumb as the students. But my favorite part is where UMCP tried to pass it off as having "educational context" PUHLEEZ.

That's pretty harsh. I agree that there are plenty of things they could protest or take action on, but this was their issue. Nobody else would have stood up for it...they did. It wasn't a big issue until a politician made it so. What's the average of students who participated? Everyone has to start somewhere. Besides if they are part of the "lazy do-nothing spoiled generation" what would they have had to protest. I've put myself on the line for alot of things in my short life. All of them don't share the same importance in retrospect, but I can't knock the principle behind those stands.

Why should kids in college park, which is practically in DC, give a crap about violence in West Baltimore?

Do you think there are from baltimore? Many of them probably aren't even from Maryland.

I suppose I was spoiled and lazy because I get protest violence in Cleveland while I was attend Ohio State in Columbus, OH too.

    That basically what you're saying.

That's not College Park MD it should be College Park, DC or is it Virginia, or is it Maryland. We don't know. Let's stop the funding and see who they identify with. They didn't have to worry about that no guts legislature cutting funding, they have no ethics either ha! ha!. That mean they would have to cut funding for a lot of their friends unethical programs.
