I attended the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council annual meeting on October 27, 2009. Mayor Dixon was the featured speaker so all the other politicians felt the need to also be in attendance. Stephanie Rawlings-Blake also spoke. The Mayor came with a full entourage including a driver and a bodyguard. She also brought housing commissioner Paul Graziano and other members of her staff. The fake speeches and lies about SCOPE, the neighborhood, housing issues, Linden Liquors, and various other issues were sickening on their own. The Mayor's confused facts and speaking style were embarrassing enough. The way the speakers tried to distract us from real issues was sad and predictable. The worst part of this pitiful and fake scene was when I had to leave early and walk back to my house. Outside of the meeting place at the corner of Eutaw and Chauncey I saw a large Black SUV illegally parked and idling. It clearly had brought some of our "leaders" there. A driver sat in the car and I asked him some questions while I videotaped the scene that we the tax payers were blindly funding. What I saw and heard is included in the video below. It was typical Baltimore caught on tape. It inspired me to make this video. Please send it around. The video not only hits some political issues, but it also sheds some light on the unique Baltimore hipster/alternative culture that bravely and boldly thrives (mostly unaware of the politics that help make certain aspects of life difficult) in Baltimore. If only the young people woke up and started to protest... Start the Revolution!

Fun video...
I think pubs (bars) played a major role in several of the world's revolutions. If Adam gets young people in this city to vote, I think the means are great!
