Christopher Taylor of Bmore United informs me that on Saturday there will be a Bmore United rally for reform in front of city hall at 2PM. Check out the flyer for the event here. The rally will try to "begin to unite the citizens of Baltimore to truly change the corrupt culture of politics and the BPD". I will be in attendance. The rally takes place after Stephanie Rawlings-Blake becomes mayor, but before the next City Council president is elected. I like the political strategy behind the selection of that date.
Below is an internet ad for another (totally unrelated) political event taking place next week:

OOO! I'm definately going to write about the Dixion art show!
Saturday's Rally for Reform at 2pm in front of city hall WILL NOT be canceled no matter what the weather. If the post office can deliver the mail rain, sleet or snow then we can stand up for our communities, our children and our future in the snow.Make no mistake- if we do not stand together now our future is at risk. One hour of your time on Saturday can help change Baltimore. Please pass this along to all contacts. See you then!
