I saw a man urinating in my alley in the middle of the day on Sunday. He was either a junkie or a drug dealer. He was angry at me when I honked my horn at him! In this man's head urinating in the middle of the alley right near the street is right. This type of behavior of course is totally wrong and would be frowned upon by a normal society. In Baltimore he knows he can get away with it though.
Margaret Burns made some very hurtful and idiotic accusations about Zach Sowers that people were offended by. Of course this is Baltimore and she knows she can get away with such statements. She continues to urinate on the decent people of this city and refuses to do the right thing. Her boss Patricia Jessamy continues to urinate on us and refuses to fire this woman. Since she is the spokesperson of Jessamy these words were basically Jessamy's words. Has Jessamy personally said anything about this yet? Has she condemned these words? When will she stop urinating on us?
Anna Sowers is angry as heck and you can read about it at her site. I can assure all of you that this issue is far from closed. I can assure you that MANY people are angry as heck about this situation and are VERY willing to do whatever (legally) it takes to ensure that the RIGHT thing happens on quite a large scale. It's going to be a long hot summer Marty and Patty!

Honking at someone who is peeing is useless. He's already doing it. You were just endangering yourself like someone honking at an aggressive driver risks some kind of road rage incident over something thats already done.
But anyways, I can't believe she's going to get away with her comments. It's absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I'm not usually politically active, but something like that really makes me want to get involved. I feel like she's got to be removed from office if she has that kind of attitude. Words really can't describe how terrible it is. Only the action of having her removed would.

I agree with Jason on everything, but "Welcome to Baltimore" -- at least the "New Baltimore". I support Anna Sowers. Marty and Patty you should be ashamed of yourselves. This will not go away until you make it right.
look the Sowers case and Burns statement stirs people's passions for one simple reason: it symbolizes the biggest thing people dislike about Baltimore. And please remember for every Sowers case there are hundreds of armed robberies, and assaults that never even make it into newspaper. The fact that a public official like Burns was so oblivious to how fed up people are about random unprovoked violent crime is disheartening.
I agree that Burns should be removed from office. She should be ashamed.

Burns should have been fired ago, but she wasn' even reprimanded for her asinine comments. It's Jessamy who should be removed from office. Thank You Adam for keeping this in the publc' eye!

Steve Fogleman needs your support to take on Jessamy. It's too early to start campaigning, but you watch. He's built a nice track record of accomplishments at the Liquor Board. Last time, he said he would speak to the press himself if elected and retire the position of spokesperson. That would save residents over 100 grand a year. Apparently, he was on to something. Windbag Burns should return give her salary to the Zach Sowers Memorial Fund.

Marty Burns is only going to 'get away' with this if we the public allow her to. Just because their office is refusing to comment further on this issue does not mean it is over. Who are Patricia Jessamy and Margaret Burns? They are supposed to be serving the public, I think its time we the public make ourselves heard. Zach Sowers and all his supporters are not going to go away just because Jessamy's office wills it so.
