On April 12, 2006 long before the Zach Sowers attack this article was published in the Maryland Daily Record. The article is about Circuit Judge John M. Glynn's frustration with the State's Attorney's office and Margaret Burns. Here is an interesting excerpt from the article:
"How do I know you guys aren't gonna go out afterwards and lie about what happened here like you did yesterday? Glynn asked prosecutor Samuel A. Yee. Glynn told Yee he was upset with a news report about another case. He believed that report to be inaccurate and sourced by Jessamy' s spokeswoman Margaret T. Burns, whom he repeatedly called a liar."
It should be big news when a Judge calls the spokesperson of Patricia Jessamy a liar and implies that she is feeding the media lies. For some reason this story seems to have been forgotten. It has a lot to do with the current Margaret Burns controversy though. Check out this quote from the article:
"Glynn's anger was fueled by an article in the Baltimore Sun, about a woman who was sentenced by him to five years in prison with all but 90 days suspended for witness intimidation. The Sun reported that prosecutors strongly objected to the plea deal Glynn accepted from Amanda Johnson.Glynn told Yee the prosecutor in Johnson's case did not invalidObjectTag to the sentence at all. Nonetheless, they had this 'strenuously objects' bullsh_t in the paper, he said, as depicted in the videotape. In response to a question from Yee, Glynn said the Sun reporter was not in the courtroom when he sentenced Johnson. A news release about the Johnson case from the state's attorney's office noted that the state objected to the sentence."
So here we have Margaret Burns being accused of feeding lies to the media in order makes the State's Attorney's office look better back in 2006. This is similar to this year when Burns lied to Exhibit A magazine about the condition of Zach Sowers in order to make the State's Attorney's deal with the killers look better. The manipulation and leaking of stories by Burns to the media (specifically the Baltimore Sun) in order to protect the State's Attorney's office and Patricia Jessamy is something quite a few people have accused Burns of during her time serving under Patricia Jessamy. This is a serious accusation but one the media seems to ignore since if they address it they probably will stop receiving leaked "information".
This Daily record article and this Page Croyder article show that the embarrassing ways of the office of Patricia Jessamy go way beyond the Zach Sowers case. Justice is in serious trouble when a respected judge calls the spokesperson for Patricia Jessamy a liar. Why does Baltimore put up with such incompetence?

Comments
The most shocking thing of all is the Sun link to "Five things Jessamy must have". Totally inappropriate to pine for luxuries in a city filled with homicides and homeless. Another poor judgment call by the Burns-Jessamites.
About time somebody called a duck a duck.
So who wants to wish Pat Jessamy a "Happy Birthday" in person on August 12th?? It's $59 for a ticket, which I think is well worth the cost for some 1:1 with our beloved State's Attorney! Who else is going??? Details at http://friendsofpatjessamy.com/
Scratch that last comment---didn't notice it was for 2007. Seemed to good to be true!
Page Croyder is on the Ed Norris show as I write. It's unbelievable the arrogance and incompetence that she's exposing about the State's Attorney's office.
I heard it too and agree w/ Deputy. There will be a pod cast Adam, if you missed it.
You've really turned over some rocks here.
Podcast of the Croyder interview is up at http://whft.com under the Ed Norris section. Amazing interview!
