Bill O'Reilly thinks black Columbia professor looks a 'little bit' like a cocaine dealer.

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill on O'Reilly Factor
To Bill O'Reilly: "You look like a cocaine user."

In what Bill O'Reilly probably considers a precocious quip, he demonstrated his ability to stereotype, and at the same time, unknowingly, he encapsulated the problem that faces us along our Mexican border.

On FOXNews' O'Reilly Factor on Wednesday, host Bill O'Reilly while posing a hypothetical question, to his guest Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, Columbia University professor, he said to Dr. Hill, "Say you're as cocaine dealer, and you kind of look like one a little bit,"

Dr. Hill's reaction to the racist stereotype, was a quick frown of incredulity, he laughed, and then responded light-heartedly "As do you, you look like a cocaine user."

O'Reilly was trying to prove why he wanted Obama to send 10,000 National Guard troops to the U.S. Mexico border. "I don't need IED's, if I have 10,000 Guard down there, that's an intimidating force, that intimidates,"

Not to play the race card, but it was a typical stereotypical racist remark. Why? Because it implies suspicion of guilt of being a cocaine dealer, based wholly on the fact that Dr. Hill is a well-dressed black man.

Dr. Hill's response is what actually encapsulated the problems we face on the Mexican border, when he sterotyped O'Reilly as looking like a "cocaine user," you can't have the rich dealers without the users creating the demand, and it's white, corporate America that creates that demand.

Bill O'Reilly wants to circle our nation with military force to stop the flow of drugs coming in, the human smuggling in, and stop the violence through intimidation without any plan to decrease demand, other than to throw everybody in jail. It's conservative "top kill."

Dr, Hill on the other hands wants to stop the flow out of guns and enormous profits and power, the enormous profit is what makes it a worthwhile war for the drug cartels to fight. The enormous potential profit is what makes the illegal flow of weapons out of the U.S. and into Mexico, one of their most valuable assets, second only to the antiquated U.S. drug and immigration policies.

Many of us have now, finally, wised up to the fact that the best avenue towards realistically dealing with drug use and addiction is through proper regulation which is what we already do with alcohol & tobacco, clearly two of our most dangerous mood altering substances. But for those of you whose ignorant and irrational minds traverse a fantasy plane of existence, you will no doubt remain sorely upset with any type of solution that does not seem to lead to the absurd and unattainable utopia of a drug free society.

There is an irrefutable connection between drug prohibition and the crime, corruption, disease and death it causes. If you are not capable of understanding this connection then maybe you're using something far stronger than the rest of us. Anybody 'halfway bright', and who's not psychologically challenged, should be capable of understanding that it is not simply the demand for drugs that creates the mayhem, it is our refusal to allow legal businesses to meet that demand.

How do you know O'Reilly was referring to Hill's race with what he said? I believe that is more revealing of the writer of this article because that's what HE read into it.

Does the writer think most cocaine dealers are well-dressed black men?

    I agree with Beb.

And I think Beb and MS are both ignorant, knuckledragging ignoramuses who likely engage in inbreeding and would gladly spit on the Constitution if it did not affect them personally. But, hey, I don't want to be "politically incorrect." Lord knows, they must be hemmin' and hawin' it up down there with their overalls and shotguns a blazin' while snortin' chewin' tabacky and chasin' runaway hogs. Beb asks how the writer knows that O'Reilly was referring to Prof. Hill's race. When O'Reilly says," Say you're as cocaine dealer, and you kind of LOOK like one a little bit," case closed. It's about Prof. Hill's race. Bye-bye, Beb and MS. Your time is done.

So, Fenarkleman, you think cocaine dealers LOOK like African Americans?

    Wow

    "It's about Prof. Hill's race"

    I mean.....wow....

    just wow

Do you realize how utterly racist you appear?

Since when do African Americans bring to mind cocaine dealers? Why do you assume cocaine dealers look like African Americans?

Once again, Beb's utter inbreeding and bug-eyed, knuckledragging, Larry the Cable Guy-worshipping, mumble-mouthed, addle-brained knee-jerk, whining scrawlings on this site display what a buffoon this person is. "Wow = waaahh!" Okay, read closely now. You can read, can't you? It was not me who said Prof. Hill looked like a cocaine dealer. BILL O'REILLY SAID PROF. HILL LOOKED LIKE A DRUG DEALER. HE DID IT ON TAPE. HE BROADCAST IT TO THE WORLD!!! And if you are that ignorant of race relations and the history of blatant racism, discrimination and targeting of African Americans to not see the racial implications of saying "you look like a cocaine dealer" to someone who is African American, then perhaps you are not really an American yourself. So I'll be first in line to be among those to hoist you by your jib and forcibly deport you from our otherwise great nation. Goodbye, Beb. We have no use for you here.

Given that O'Reilly has a history of making not-so-subtle-to-overt racist remarks, I will give you, he MAY have been referring to race with his cocaine dealer remark.

HOWEVER, that does not negate the FACT that those of you who kneejerk to that conclusion must have that in mind yourselves for the thought to raise itself in your little minds.

Again, kneejerker, I will ask you: why do YOU assume a cocaine dealer "looks" black?
