It didn’t take long for newly elected and sworn in Senator from Massachusetts, Scott Brown, to pick up the Party line and begin lying.
At his swearing in ceremony, Brown stood at the podium and spoke sanctimoniously about his desire to get to Washington, and vote no on proposals made by Democrats or the Obama administration. He answered a reporter’s question concerning the big hurry to get sworn in quickly, by saying “so he could get to work in Washington, because there is so much work to do.” Yes Scottie, you will vote no and make speeches full of lies, and you’ve tipped your hand so early by lying at your swearing in ceremony. Very Impressive.
Nice statements, from a not so nice man. Taking his cue from the likes of Sarah Palin, Tea Party people and Fox News, Brown stood at the podium and categorically lied saying, “The economic stimulus bill has not created one single job.” Really?
It seems that ole Brownie needs to get out and look around, or pick up a newspaper, or ask someone in any city if any of the stimulus money created or saved any jobs. But that would take cognition, objectivity, and honesty.
It is safe to say now, that Senator Scott Brown is a liar. Why does he claim that not one job has resulted from the economic stimulus? Because that is message the Tea Party movement is sending in emails, text messages, and on Fox News.
Scott should come to California and ask people in Modesto about jobs created or saved by the stimulus. In fact, Brownie can drive around the County, or the state, or Nevada, and see the signs saying the money for the projects came from the stimulus, and there are myriad workers fixing roads, building bridges and refurbishing older homes.
However, seeing something for himself would not assure veracity from Mr. Brown like most Republicans. It is easy for them to stand and make up stories that contain no facts or truths, and Brown stepped into the role of liar immediately.
When the Republican Caucus met with President Obama, several Representatives stood up and made claims that were not true, and Mr. Obama finally told them “just because you say it, it doesn’t make it true”.
Truth is elusive for people like Scott Brown, Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck because they tell summary lies as if they are truths, and then become indignant when someone with a video camera shows them what they said.
So Brownie, America knows your game now, because people see it daily from liars like Palin, and real elected officials on the Republican or Tea Bagger’s side. You will fall in lockstep with your brethren, vote no on every bill, and lie to your constituents. The only thing you will have to say when you run for re-election is that you voted no 60 or 70 times.
So keep making statements that are not true, in fact, let’s not make nice, keep lying Brown, and keep telling lies that people know are lies, because Americans aren’t blind like your Tea Party supporters, and many are honest, but you would not know anything about truth or honesty because you lied Brownie, and you know you lied!

Heck, Obama lies every time he reads his teleprompter to us so I guess Brown is in good company.
Short story: the liberals had a year of absolute power, the House, the Senate and the Presidency and what did they get done? Zero, zilch, nada, nothing and more than likely that was good for the country. Common, if you can't win with every thing going for you what else do you need. Just goes to show that Obama was in no way qualified to be President, he handed off leadership to the likes of Pelosi and Ried and the American people have rejected that threatened lurch toward an all powerful socialistic state.
People wanted a leader and all Obama did was vote present and now he and his party are paying the price but America wins. Ta-ta.

He has always said he is a fiscal conservative. So he wasn't lying. His campaign platform was to stop how the healthcare bill is being processed, transparency, cut taxes and spending, work across the aisle, and address how terrorist are tried. Looks like three of his promises have been fulfilled. Not bad for a senator who hasn't even casted his first vote.
Oh, I left one out. Government needs to work on creating jobs. Funny how after Jan 19, Obama changed his rhetoric to "jobs" instead of healthcare reform.

I like Scott Brown. The lie is "that the stimulus" is working. It clearly is not. Unless you consider it's Obama's personal slush fund for rewarding political operatives and union supporters. With only 1/3 of the money spent and the cost of each job created in excess of $400,000 we can effectively say that NO JOBS were created. It might be cheaper just to write a check for $40,000 each year to 10 people.
787 Billion stimulus package (read that Jobs Bill #1) squandered. We should ensure that no more funds should be so squandered. Go Scott Brown!
